Still, she believed that zombie romances were gross, which partly explained why there were so few of them.īut she could not stop herself from thinking that she needed to write one zombie romance as she believed she could make it not so gross. She was inspired to pen her debut novel since she was tired of hearing that there were hardly any good zombie romances. This is what informed her decision to write fiction when she became a mother and had a lot of time on her hands. Similar to many of her contemporaries, Rebekah R. Writing fiction was more enticing than acting, since she could stay at home and look after her kids. Ultimately, she decided she was better of writing the stories of her characters rather than acting them out. Majoring in drama, she decided to also take theater in college.įollowing graduation from college, she would act right up to the moment she became a mother. She got started writing when she was in junior high school, which is when she discovered that she liked playacting.
